Republic Services will be hosting “Mulch Madness,” an organics composting event for Chula Vista residents.
Residents can bring their organic waste to be turned into free compost to take home. Participants should also come prepared with their proof of residency, shovels, containers, and tarps.
The event is held three times a year, with additional opportunities on August 26 and November 4.
